Can cracking in past bleed a blemish on present?
Can fissure in history blister the pleasant?
Will seeping of acid from bygone investment
Be steeping the placid till grave has a tenant?
Attempting attachment, perempting temptation,
Exempting the empty from all dedication
Exemplifies everything mass alteration
Necessitates roundly for new fate gestation.
Fulfillment is killed when a willful exhibit
Of rigidness hinders the purview of pivot.
The panoptic option has wisdom within it,
For myopic choices wound effort by limit.
I'm positive pause in my hostile accounting--
That awful accosting--will get the surrounding
Environment plentiful space for abounding
A love--not a threat of vociferous trouncing.
I think the first stanza is my favorite...the opening question sounds so urgent to me, like your speaker is saying, "Let's get to the bottom of this!!"
