Bell Sink II (from Jacob of Orléans to Richard)

For dinner tonight,
This fool would like
To see a King Richard leek.
With fork and knife,
I'll stab and then slice,
The fervor might wet my cheek.

(Cruciferous one
Shall get nonplussed,
Confounded till head is changed.
He'll cross no more,
Be cross nevermore,
His pattern will be deranged.)

Desert must include
A hearty food
To be the main thing that's tried.
A sweet bread poached
Can be my approach
When serving a dish from pride.

For beating the weed
That's choking earth,
A rod will supplant a plot.
Or I'll abet
A salad instead,
Give favor to nobler spot.
