Type of Minerva

"A goddess will bodice her body for modesty.
Opposite option got blocked by the sophistry
Offered by obstinate scoffers who honestly
Preach that beseeching a zenith brings mockery.

Tattooed by a muse, I refuse the mendacity,
'Choosing improvement can cancel sagacity.'
Usual usage of craft is a tragedy,
Beautiful student will ruin nugacity.

Design on my skin over spine is symbology,
Printing insisting to flog thought-homology.
None of you want to abolish monotony,
Therefore I scorn you without an apology."

  1. Whoa, this sure isn't "usual usage of craft" - it leaps into music! Apt, I think, the title, Minerva overseeing poets and warriors, the goddess that's tattooed on the medal of honor.

  5. This is very clever and tongue-twisting, and the rhyming and meter are perfection. I am way impressed. My tired old brain cannot produce such delights any more, but I sure had fun reading it!!

  6. This feels like a rap. The alliteration is so fun, when read aloud. No waste, either. My kind of writing.

  7. I could hear the words with a rhythm and a beat. Musical notes in poetry....
